    Katherline uses a holistic approach to educational therapy and addresses the whole person first. She spent 10 years in the classroom and over 6 years in private practice that has given her the training and insight to understand the gap in learning. She brings a progressive perspective that targets development of a growth mindset as the kickoff point to building skills. Her method is based on improving six aspects of our lives: mindset, daily habits, productivity, goals, self-advocacy, and metacognition.

    Background: B.A. Anthropology, UCLA; Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, University of Southern California

    Experience: Grades 1st, 2nd and 4th grades, LAUSD; 6th Grade Science and SEL Teacher, Girls Athletic Leadership School; K-8 Reading Interventionist specializing in the Orton Gillingham approach.

    As an educational therapist and a nutritionist, Samantha understands the significance of the brain-gut connection in influencing cognitive function, mood regulation, and behavior. She recognizes that the health of the gut microbiome directly impacts brain health and specializes in providing nutritional support specifically tailored to the needs of the neurodivergent brain. She acknowledges the unique nutrient requirements and potential deficiencies that can impact the cognitive function and overall well-being of these individuals. By addressing these nutritional needs, and through her holistic approach, Samantha empowers her clients and their families to understand the importance of nutrition in supporting their overall health and well-being.
